I had the same problem with my 2003 accord 4 cyl, the problem is the two cables that are attached to the throttle body, the one 'cam' disintegrated with age. When the engine is running, the high and low parts of the teeth cause the gap with the sensor to change. Obd2 code p0340 honda definition:
