It just eternally blink blue. I switched the battery with a working door sensor to see if it’s a battery issue but it still didn’t get linked to the hub or show any leds. I gazed through its code, but did not find anything there about an led or red light.

If motion is detected within the 30 second window after it reports no motion, i think a timer starts. Hold down the connect button (a) for 5 seconds and release it when the led light (b) starts blinking red.

Rated 3 out of 5 by anon1230 from it works, too well this product more or less works as advertised, battery indicator is way off but who cares, the big problem i have with it is the lack of sensitivity adjustment.

I’m Trying To Pair 3 Of My St Motion Sensor Without Much Luck.

Hold down the connect button (a) for 5 seconds and release it when the led light (b) starts blinking red. I have tried setting the 80 parameter to led inactive using the st default device handler however this doesn’t seem to work. I have also tried then pushing the b button on the sensor 3 times to update.

I Just Received My Smartthings Hub And Set Everything Up, It Paired With My Lights And The Door Sensors Just Fine.

Then 30 seconds after no motion, if motion has been reported in that time span, it reports motion.e.g. With the st app, attempt to connect nowfound under the the “safety and security/motion/samsung…” option. I would assume this could be done on the app, but no it cant.

So, The Sensor Must ‘See’ Not Motion For At Least 30 Seconds Before It Will Send A Motion ‘Inactive’ Status Update.
