Sr20Det Coolant Temp Sensor Thread
Sr20Det Coolant Temp Sensor Thread. 127 deg c (260 f) max reading. '93 g20 12.0 @ 119 mph built sr20det ( sold )

I have an rb20 fitted with an rb26 intake; I used my ka coolant temp sensor for the gauge, and it worked. The one for the gauge from my 20 fit fine in the location (the small one) but the one for the ecu (big one) is too small.

Oem nissan s14 / s15 sr20det coolant temp sensor. Instead of doing that simply unbolt your factory coolant neck and install this spacer in between the neck and the head. Replace yours with this new, plug and play wiring specialties unit.
I Bought One From Phase2, They Said It Works For Ka24De And Sr20Det, But It Doesn't Even Plug Into The Harness.
Coolant temp sensor location + reply to thread posts: My problem is that when i bought this intake, it lacked the coolant temp sensor for the ecu. The larger one is the coolant temp sensor.
Can Anyone Show Me A Photo/Diagram Where This Is Located?
127 deg c (260 f) max reading. Sr20 community → general sr20 → coolant temp sensor location. Be the first to like this post.
Lower Hose Dont Change Temp And Coolant Temp Dont Go Above 75, Goes A Bit Higher When I Hold The Throttle, But Goes Right Back Down Once I Let Off.
The reason i think the coolant sensor is going bad is. Just confirming the correct placement for an aftermarket water temp sensor is in the top radiator hose (as i have seen this done multiple times). Want to install an aftermarket coolant temp sensor but don't want to cut into your radiator hose?
Some Info That I Have Gleaned:
Matching delphi plug and pins. Could be low on coolant, could have a bad temp sensor or you could have an air pocket in the cooling system. Thermostat works fine, but the engine still wont get up to temp.
